why does dragon ball super have way less blood than dragon ball z

been rewatching DBZ and then switched to Super and noticed fights barely show any blood anymore even when someone gets absolutely wrecked. is that an actual rule change from toei or is it just a style thing for the newer show, kinda takes away from how brutal some of the hits look
