wait is there actually a new Evangelion anime coming or is that fake

saw a post saying hideaki anno announced a whole new evangelion series back in february, with studio khara and cloverworks both working on it. thought thrice upon a time wrapped up the whole rebuild thing for good back in 2021 so this feels like it came out of nowhere. is this actually officially confirmed and not just fan speculation, and is it supposed to be a continuation or a total restart
