Is The Summer Hikaru Died manga really ending soon?

Only watched the anime so far and was planning to pick up the manga afterwards, but now my timeline is full of people saying its about to end. Is that true or just a rumor, and how many chapters are left? Would rather binge the whole thing at once than read it chapter by chapter.
