Part 1 of Sakamoto Days was 22 episodes split into two batches, and I just saw season 2 got confirmed for a January 2027 release. Cant find anything solid on the actual episode count for season 2 though, just people guessing it'll match part 1. Has Netflix or the studio said anything official yet?
Nothing official on the count yet. Netflix has only locked January 2027 as the return window - no premiere day, no per-batch episode total, nothing. Part 1 was 22 across two drops of 11, and most trackers are assuming season 2 mirrors that, but that's an assumption, not a number anyone at Netflix or the studio has actually said out loud. I'd wait for the Tudum press push closer to the date before treating any specific number as real.
